The SmartSolar charge controller will charge even a very discharged battery. It can operate with battery voltages as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.
MPPT: Ultra-fast maximum power point tracking
By continuously monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that the panels' available power is utilized to the fullest extent possible for storage in batteries. Remote monitoring and control

Output loads
The intelligent Output Load function prevents the risk of battery damage due to complete discharge. You can set the voltage at which SmartSolar will turn off the load - thus preventing the battery from draining completely. And one more smart feature: SmartSolar will be try to ensure the battery is fully charged throughout the day. If this cannot be done - for example, in bad weather - the device will increase the load cut-off voltage day after day until the battery is fully charged during the day. We call this feature BatteryLife because it keeps your batteries healthy, extending their lifespan.
