Victron Energy produces highly efficient and reliable DC/DC converters (DC/DC converters) 12/24V and 24/12V, with output currents from 5 to 70A. Converters are designed to supply DC consumers with a supply voltage that differs from the existing DC network. For example, the operation of 24-volt equipment in a car or boat that has an on-board voltage of 12V, or vice versa. The converters do not have galvanic isolation (the input minus and the output minus have an internal connection).

This function is implemented on high power converters (20/25/40/70A). Remote control eliminates the need to install a large current switch in the input wiring. Remote on-off allows you to use a regular low-power switch or ignition switch contacts in a car.
Variable Output Models
All models with adjustable output voltage (see description) can be used as a battery charger, for example, to charge a 12V battery from an on-board 24V DC network or vice versa. For a 12V battery, you should set it to 13.5V (24/12 converter) for a 24V battery, 27V (12/24 converter), Float charging method. All models with regulated output can be connected in parallel (up to 5 devices) to increase the output current.
