A solar charger collects energy from solar panels and stores it in batteries. Using the latest and fastest technology, SmartSolar maximizes solar energy efficiency by delivering a smart charge in the shortest possible time. SmartSolar keeps batteries in good condition, increasing their lifespan.
The SmartSolar charge controller will charge even a very discharged battery. It can operate with battery voltages as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.
MPPT: Ultra-fast maximum power point tracking
By continuously monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that the panels' available power is utilized to the fullest extent possible for storage in batteries. The benefits are especially obvious under partly cloudy skies, when the light changes frequently.
Remote monitoring and control
Remotely monitor and control a wide range of features on your SmartSolar MPPT charger with built-in Bluetooth by connecting it to your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the Internet using a GX device, the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal provides access to the full power of your MPPT anytime, anywhere; Access to VictronConnect and VRM is free. For remote installations - even if there is no Internet connection nearby - you can still monitor your MPPT by connecting the GlobalLink 520.
