Inverter SMA Sunny Tripower X 25 (25 kW)
The new Sunny Tripower X is an innovative system solution for commercial and large residential photovoltaic systems.
The integrated System Manager function with direct access to the Sunny Portal based on ennexOS controls up to five SMA inverters and one energy meter. This enables dynamic closed-loop control of active and reactive power using SMA dynamic power control. Thanks to its wide input voltage range and high input current, it is compatible with the latest generation of high-performance PV modules. The innovative housing design ensures efficient cooling of the electronic components and thus guarantees maximum service life for the Sunny Tripower X.
Commissioning can be done quickly and easily and centrally for all devices in the system. During operation, users benefit from integrated software solutions: SMA ShadeFix increases the output of photovoltaic systems even in in case of partial shading, the SMA ArcFix effectively detects electrical arcs and can reliably reduce the risk of fire.

SMA ShadeFix – intelligent energy optimization
Established product features and integrated software solutions will ensure yield optimization throughout the life of the system. Even in the shadows. SMA ShadeFix is patented inverter software that optimizes energy output in virtually any situation. SMA Smart Connected inverter monitoring provides increased safety by detecting errors at an early stage and automatically reporting them to the installer.
SMA ArcFix – effective prevention of electric arcs
An Arc Fault Interrupter (AFCI) effectively detects possible electrical arcs in a PV system and the inverter stops supplying power before a fire can occur. SMA was one of the pioneers when AFCI were introduced in the USA, and have continuously improved this solution over the past decade. In the future, we will equip all of our string inverters worldwide with our AFCI SMA ArcFix solution. In this way, we will consistently raise the already high safety standards of photovoltaic systems even further.
SMA Smart Connected – proactive communication in case of faults SMA Smart Connected allows you to monitor your inverter free of charge via the SMA Sunny portal. If the inverter fails, the SMA will inform the system operator and installer in advance. This saves valuable working time and costs.
With SMA Smart Connected, the installer benefits from fast diagnostics using SMA. This allows the installer to quickly fix the problem and offer customers a number of additional and very attractive services.
